There are many types of Reiki (ray-key) in the world today. The most well known is traditional Usui Reiki. Reiki is simply "universal energy" and is a "laying on of hands healing art". Mikao Usui from Japan set off on a quest in
search of the healing secrets of Buddha and Jesus Christ. After spending
time learning a healing discipline he found in a 2500 year old Sanskrit
writing, he ascended a mountain, meditated and fasted for 21 days until
he had his illumination -- hit with a ball of white energy and given the Reiki
symbols. On the way down the mountain he stumbled and cut his toe,
touching it with his hands healed the cut; he met a person with a
toothache and he touched the cheek, the toothache disappeared. Mikao
Usui attuned Chujro Hayashi as a Reiki Master in 1925. Mikao Usui
passed away in 1930 leaving between 16-18 Reiki Masters. In 1941
Chujro Hayashi died after attuning 12-16 Reiki Masters including his wife Chie Hayashi and Hawayo Takata. Takata went from Hawaii to Japan
for healing and was healed in four months. In 1936 she received Reiki I
from Chujro Hayashi. In 1937 she received Reiki II from Hayashi and then
returned to Hawaii. In 1938 Takata received Reiki III from Hayashi and he
announces her as Reiki Master and his successor. Takata passed away
in 1980 after making 22 Reiki Masters in ten years. To be a Reiki
Master/Teacher used to cost $10,000.

A student receives attunements from a Reiki Master/Teacher. The first
attunement opens the Crown chakra 50% so the Universal healing
energy can enter the body. The second attunement opens the Crown
chakra the additional 50%. There may be some side effects from all this
energy entering a body. Usually a bath in water containing sea salt will
alleviate ill effects. After the second attunement, one is taught Reiki
symbols to send Reiki through space, make Reiki more powerful and Emotional Healing/Clearing. There will be training and practice of using correct hand positions for self, males and females. In Reiki II you will also be taught how to manifest with Reiki.  If a student has completed the total prior course, the last attunement which used to cost $10,000 will be given for those wishing to teach Reiki. You will then receive the Master/Teacher attunement and symbol so you will be a Reiki Master/Teacher too. Once attuned, you are attuned for life. 

You will learn about the major chakras in the human body also and how to keep them clean and spinning well. You will learn my little known secrets for grounding and passing the client's energy from your body.

Rev. Ms. Marjorie Cameron will combine the Reiki I and Reiki II attunements. Rev. Cameron attunes each student separately in groups of three thusly keeping the Reiki very strong. The Reiki Master/Teacher attunement will be one day after practice of Reiki I and Reiki II.
